My first two terms in Congress have taught me in order to win the war, you must stay in the fight. I need your support on November 4 to stay in the fight for Texas' Congressional District 2. As a 7th generation Texan, I know what matters to Texans. I believe in lower taxes, conservative Texas values, the sanctity of the Constitution, expanded border security and limited government control. Some of you may know me as the former judge of the 228th District Court in Harris County where I came up with "innovative sentences" for felony offenders. If you've seen those folks with sandwich boards proclaiming their crimes, then you know about "Poetic Justice." As a judge, I saw problems with the punishment of criminals and the treatment of crime victims in Texas and sought creative, innovative solutions.
